We had our second visit to the doctor today that was quite a bit more eventful than the first. We finally got to hear the heartbeat! It was such a relief to hear and even though I have known there's a baby growing in there, hearing the heartbeat made it much more real! We also were finally were able to run my labs and the H1N1 vaccine was in. So after hearing that little "whoosh whoosh whoosh" and getting injected, we headed over to the lab where I handed over enough blood for 7 viles and of course after two hours without a bathroom break, I had no problem with the urine sample.
(btw- Even thoug my sister was upset by this and requested that I demand we have one sooner, we won't have an ultrasound until 18-22 weeks. We just don't have any reason to have one soon and it's the norm for my doc's office so even though it would be super exciting to see our Bean now, we have to wait...)
